Frequently Asked Questions

Everything about Casa Brigitt and your holiday in Lanzarote – best time to visit, weather, high season, things to do and practical tips.

When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?

Lanzarote is a year-round destination with a mild climate. Winter temperatures are typically 20–22 °C and summers reach 26–29 °C. Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are especially pleasant, with warm days and little rain – perfect for the beach, terrace and hiking.

What is the weather like in Lanzarote and Puerto del Carmen?

On the south coast, Puerto del Carmen is one of the sunniest spots on the island, with over 300 days of sunshine a year. Rain is rare, the sea is swimmable all year, and the steady trade winds keep evenings comfortable even in high summer.

When is high season in Lanzarote?

High season (peak pricing) in Lanzarote runs from mid-December to Easter and in August and September. Demand is highest then, so it is worth booking early. The cheaper low season is mainly in May and June.

What is there to do in Lanzarote?

Highlights include Timanfaya National Park and its volcanic landscape, the art-and-nature sites of César Manrique (Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes, Mirador del Río, Jardín de Cactus), the La Geria wine region, plus diving, snorkelling, surfing and hiking. The Sunday market in Teguise is also well worth a visit.

Which beaches are nearby?

The beaches of Puerto del Carmen – Playa Grande, Playa de los Pocillos and Playa Chica – are just a few minutes’ walk away, with the main beach only about 300 metres down the road. They offer fine sand, calm water and plenty of nearby restaurants and beach bars.

How do I get to Casa Brigitt from the airport?

Lanzarote Airport (ACE) is only about 5 km away – roughly a 10-minute drive by car or taxi. Taxis can be booked in advance or hailed on the beach road, and rental cars are available directly at the airport.

Do I need a rental car?

You don’t need a car for the beach, restaurants and the centre of Puerto del Carmen – everything is within walking distance and supermarkets are right nearby. For day trips to Timanfaya, La Geria or the north of the island, however, we recommend renting a car.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. The minimum age for check-in is 20. Different times can be arranged on request.

How many guests can Casa Brigitt accommodate?

Casa Brigitt has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and comfortably accommodates up to four guests across 85 m².
